ANALISE DO FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREEN EM ATLETAS DE FUTEBOL AMERICANO FEMININO AMADOR

O futebol americano é um esporte de alto rendimento e contato que vem crescendo em todo o Brasil. O esporte é conhecido por ter um alto índice de lesões durante sua pratica seja em treinos ou jogos. Temos como método de avaliação o Functional Movement Screen (FMS) no qual determina as principais áreas de déficit motor, limitações ou assimetrias Entende-se que a avaliação é uma forma de identificar os padrões de movimento por vezes negligenciados em avaliações clássicas e tradicionais. Objetivo: Este estudo visa aplicar o FMS em atletas de futebol americano feminino amador e identificar déficits motores e assimetrias. Materias e métodos: Foi realizada uma avaliação em 18 atletas amadoras do sexo feminino no Parque São José dos Pinhais com as atletas utilizando vestimentas de treino: Chuteira de campo, calça leg/shorts, camiseta/regata. Resultados: A pontuação média do time foi de 13, assim contendo alta probabilidade de se lesionar tanto em treinos quanto em jogos devido à pontuação do time estar dentro de uma faixa de risco (≤14). Conclusão: Conclui-se com essa pesquisa que as atletas têm aumento no risco de lesão.Referências
